Hi everyone.

We're aware we haven't updated the blog in a little while, so I thought I'd let you know whats happening. At the moment we're having some upgrades made to the website which will allow us to add content more easily.

In addition, we hope to have 'The Celestial Heart' uploaded to youtube shortly. The youtube upload will be from a new master of the film, in which some minor errors present in the original have been corrected.  

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Elisabeth Sladen, known to many as Sarah Jane Smith from Doctor Who, who died this week.
Her illness was not public knowledge so the news of her death came as a shock to many, myself included.

It is no understatement to say that the character of Sarah Jane was one of the most popular (if not the most popular) companion in the history of Doctor Who and that was largely down to Elisabeth.

We are very sad to report the death of Phil Reed, who died in a kayak accident at the weekend.

Phil was key in helping us film the Tardis/console room scenes in The Celestial Heart. He travelled from Leeds with Chris Hoyle to help assemble the Police Box and console room set which Chris had so generously lent to us. 

This was only the occasion on which I met Phil, but from that short meeting I found him to be a very likeable person. The fact that he travelled several miles to help us, who he had never met before, is a good example of what a nice guy he was.

I wanted to add my thoughts on the passing of Nicholas Courtney.

As Richard mentioned, Nicholas played Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart in Doctor Who. His first appearance in the role was in 1968 (he previously appeared as a different character). He became a regular character in the early 70s and returned for guest appearances in 80s and 90s. His final appearance in the role was in the spin off series The Sarah Jane Adventures in 2008.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news or Nicholas Courtney's Death this week. The actor who played Brigadier  Lethbridge-Stewart died last Wednesday.

He was a wonderful actor and was a key part of making Doctor Who such a rich television series. He will be missed greatly.

Hi everyone

The online release of 'The Celestial Heart'  is now just a matter of days away. The film is complete and DVD copies have been sent out to those involved.

A page for the film will be up shortly, hopefully tomorrow.
