We are very sad to report the death of Phil Reed, who died in a kayak accident at the weekend.
Phil was key in helping us film the Tardis/console room scenes in The Celestial Heart. He travelled from Leeds with Chris Hoyle to help assemble the Police Box and console room set which Chris had so generously lent to us.
This was only the occasion on which I met Phil, but from that short meeting I found him to be a very likeable person. The fact that he travelled several miles to help us, who he had never met before, is a good example of what a nice guy he was.
Myself and Richard extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
